As the clouds gather this evening and the hurricane draws near, I always wonder. . . .will this be THE ONE that gets us????? I've been through a lot of them here in Florida, some pretty bad, others. . . . a windy poof of a day! But never like the one that hit New Orleans, or Andrew, or others that flattened whole communities. This is not predicted to be a bad one, so I'm not too worried. But this is always my song at times like these! Please scroll to the bottom of the page and turn off my music before starting the video!

It is always a little nerve wracking to have one out there. You just never know where it will go. We got by Fay, now on to Gustuv and Hanna...Pray we get through the next few weeks. I always relax by the end of September. Most of the large ones have hit us in August,,,Camille and Katrina...
But I also know that whatever happens, God will be there to see us through.
Hi Cora ((( Hugz Sistah)))
I have been listening to the news, I didn't know you were in Florida. I will be keeping you all in prayer and pray that it won't be a bad one. Is it raining alot there? Please keep me updated okay I'll come and check on you. How are you feeling? I have a special card for you, can you email me joyfulsister@msn.com and let me know where I can send it to. Hugz Lorie

I've been praying for all my family & friends in Florida. I didn't realize that you lived there, too. You're already in my prayers, but now I'll add your safety through the winds and rain.
Patirica :o)
PS: What a voice Joe Pearle has! Beautiful song.
Beautiful, Cora, and I will continue to pray. I hope you are feeling better. I'll be praying especially for tomorrow for you when you have the treatment.
I loved the sky pictures in that video. What an awesome God we have.
Love, Debra
Stay safe dear one!
Hi Cora,
I believe your storm has passed hasn't it? How did the tree fair?
Lea
I have an award for you, Cora. Stop by when you can. Julie
Hi Cora, I stopped by to see how you are doing. I hope this storm passes you by too.
Hi Cora. I'm so glad to hear that your cancer has not spread and that you are doing well with your treatments. Sorry I haven't checked on you since July 28th. My 16 year old nephew's Hodgkins Disease, (lymphoma), is back and he is a very sick puppy. I hope you and all your friends will pray for him. Thank God you are well.
Hi Cora,
I am glad the storm wasn't real bad and I am sorry for the ones who lost their homes in the tornadoes that came from it.
I hope you are having a good week despite the weather.
I was hoping for so rain in our drought area. Maybe we will still get some later in the week.
My thoughts and prayers have been with you. I still admire your strength. I have keep up with your posts, it is just so hard with this dial-up to leave comments most of the time.(and forget about watching any videos with it).
Have a good rest of the week.
Pam
I never realized you were in Florida too.
How did you fair last night? We did fine but some areas are flooded and a lot is still closed for business today.
I probably have told you this before, but when I was 11 Hurricane Donna struck a direct hit on our house just west of Orlando - front side, eye, and back. All night I heard this song playing in my head. As scared as I was, I felt safe in God's hand.
Cheryl

So glad to know that the storm passed you by, Cora. I was scanning the map looking for you ever time a newscast popped up.
Love your new look. It is so pretty! And now that we have high speed, I can actually listen to your music too. Very nice!
