The Sweetest Prayers!

Photobucket

I can't begin to thank each and every one of you who have taken the time to comment and have promised to pray for me. I feel so humbled by the outpouring of friendship here in blogland. But I also feel so strengthened by it all! Please know that I appreciate you so so much and thank the Lord every day for you, believe me.

But you know what? The most touching and humbling experiences I've had during the past week or so have been when a few of you have told me of the prayers and love and concern of your children, and the sweet way they have gone to the Throne of Grace as only a child can do have have prayed for ME -- in faith, believing that God will answer their prayers.

It made me look back down the long corridors of my life, and I wondered where and how I lost that simple, childlike faith? Especially since God has never failed me. Sure, there have been hard times, dark times, disappointing times in my life. But He never promised me a life with no storms, rain, and darkness. He did promise me that He would walk with me THROUGH these times, and He has never nce failed on that promise.

And so, today on my Thank You list are two very special little people who have great big hearts:

For these things, I thank you, Lord:
26. Colton, who prayed for me when he found out I needed prayer.
27. Randi, just the sweetest little girl who offered everything she had to help make me better!

Ah, thats is soooo sweet! I love the innocent prayers of children!

I have a little confession! You know when there is something that I REALLY need prayer for...the first person I go to for prayer is my 6 year old! He has such a great heart for the Lord! Even if I just simply want it to stop raining...I say "Jonah, can you pray for the rain to stop"?......and it does!!!! LOL...

I will ask him to say a prayer for you too...my dear firend! :)

((((LOVE))))

What a lovely picture.
I feel so humbled when I hear my Grandchildren pray, or the children in my Sunday School class-
I often teach the story of the little children who wanted to see Jesus- it's one of my favorites, because it reminds me that it's not just about the children but each one of us, too.
I'm thinking of you everyday, Cora, and keeping you in my prayers.
Hugs,
Pam

Oh Cora, how sweet! I'll have to tell Colton that he was on your thankfulness list. He will be tickled.

Colton continues to pray for you. Once you're on his list, you're a lifer so you can be assured prayers will being going up for you often. I can just little Jordan being the same with her angelic little face uplifted. Precious!

Love you,
Lea

Cora: You can add 3 more to your list!!! Little Hannah, Caleb, and Rebekah have been praying for you each and every night...

I was just thinking... You said that Randi offered everything she had to help make you better. Isn't it something that she fell sick this week and needed to stay in the hospital? I believe the Lord accepted her offering and allowed her to share in the suffering of the body of Christ for you. We can never know how the Lord uses all that we offer, but I am sure that there is no purer offering (other than Jesus') than a child's, and that in God's hands all things will be made new. I am in awe of Randi's faith and yours.

More Love & Prayers... *Linda*
